17. & 18 January 2020

Organisation: Dr Herbert Schwaab and Dr Michael Fleig
Venue: Vielberth Building, H26, University of Regensburg
Admission free

In addition to looking at aspects of media technology and the influence on reception and digital culture in general, the conference "Das war/ist die DVD" will also focus on forms of (accidental) canonisation by DVD providers or on practices of collecting in a residual but still persistent DVD fan culture. The conference would therefore like to bring positions from practice and science into a dialogue.
