Inaugural event
We’re planning another fantastic freshers’ event for you this year!
On the day, we – the student representatives – will show you round the university and the city, and you’ll have the chance to get to know your fellow students.
It’s taking place on Thursday 8 October 2026, so make sure you keep that day free!
We’ve also set up a WhatsApp group (external link, opens in a new window) where you freshers can chat to one another. You’ll also find all the details about the freshers’ event there.
The day will start in the morning with some information for you, as well as a Weißwurst breakfast together. This will be followed by a campus tour, during which you’ll also receive your freshers’ goody bags packed with lots of great treats. In the afternoon, you’ll head out in groups for the city rally. Each group will be guided to the different stations by student council members. This gives you the chance to get to know each other and also to chat with older students. You’ll also get to see the most beautiful spots in Regensburg. We’ll be offering a selection of alcoholic drinks during the city rally. Of course, nobody will be pressured into drinking alcohol. But please do bear this in mind when planning your journey home!
We’re also organising a big pharmacy party again this year! This is expected to take place during the first two weeks of the semester.
