Our faculty is allocated funds each year from the Financial Incentive System for the Promotion of Equal Opportunities for Women.
Possible funding opportunities include, for example:
- Student assistant or research assistant positions for early-career female researchers
- Start-up funding for doctoral projects
- Completion scholarships for doctorates, postdoctoral scholarships, or habilitation scholarships
- Travel grants for academic trips
- Information events outside the university for specific degree programs
- Purchase of literature and software
- Translation costs for publications
- Support for guest lectures by female researchers or invitations of cooperation partners by female researchers at the University of Regensburg
- Further training opportunities
- Measures under the faculty’s equal opportunities concepts

During the current calendar year, applications may be submitted to the Equal Opportunities Officer. Please note the following points:
- Cover letter with a brief explanation and motivation for the application
- When applying for student/research assistant positions, scholarships, or academic travel, please include a letter of support or justification from your supervisor
- Short statement confirming that no funding is being received from other sources, or that approved funds will be repaid after consultation if funding is granted elsewhere
- For conference attendance: clear cost breakdown including supporting documents
- For transfers to a private account: provide bank details (IBAN)
- For internal university reallocations: chapter, title, subtitle, cost center/project, KoA, Hül number
