10 years of CampusAsyl

On 6 November 2025, CampusAsyl celebrated its tenth anniversary together with around 130 guests in the Vielberth Building at the University of Regensburg.

Among those present were representatives from the City of Regensburg, the University and the OTH, who paid tribute to the association’s work for and with refugees in Regensburg .

In their welcoming addresses, the Lord Mayor, Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer, the President of the University, Prof. Dr Udo Hebel, and the President of the OTH, Prof. Dr Ralph Schneider, expressed their appreciation. Particular praise was given to the invaluable work of the numerous volunteers who have been involved with the association since 2015.
