Orientation Program Startklar

What does "Startklar" stand for?

Startklar is an orientation program free of charge for new international students.

Write an e-mail to international.startklar@ur.de with these particulars:

- Last name, first name

- Date of birth

- Nationality

- In the winter term 2019 you will be starting:

  • 1- the German language course or
  • 2- regular studies?
  • If 2: which studies (name and degree, e.g. bachelor, master, PhD...)

- If you will be starting an English language degree program (master's program), please let us know. 

Content and Organization

During the program, you will receive all necessary information and help you need for completing the formalities at the beginning of your studies e.g. opening a bank account, getting health insurance, getting your student ID, visa regulations.

The program includes tours through the library, the computer labs, several campus tours, extra-curricular activities as well as guided tours through the city.

The Orientation Program "Startklar“ for the winter term 2019 will take place from September 30th to Oktober 11th 2019.

Please let us know in your registration if you will be starting an English language master's program.
