Orientation Program Startklar

What does "Startklar" stand for?

Startklar is an orientation program free of charge for new international students.

Registration

Write an e-mail to international.startklar@ur.de with these particulars:

- Last name, first name

- Date of birth

- Nationality

- In the summer term 2019 you will be starting:

  • 1- the German language course or
  • 2- regular studies?
  • If 2: which studies (name and degree, e.g. bachelor, master, PhD...)

- If you will be starting an English langue degree program (master's program), please let us know. 

Content and Organization

During the program, you will receive all necessary information and help you need for completing the formalities at the beginning of your studies e.g. opening a bank account, getting health insurance, getting your student ID, visa regulations.

The program includes tours through the library, the computer labs, several campus tours, extra-curricular activities as well as guided tours through the city.

The Orientation Program "Startklar“ for the summer term 2019 will take place from April 8th to April 18th 2019. More concrete information about the content you will find here soon.

Startklar will only be offered in German in summer term 2019. However, please let us know if you will be starting an English language master's program. There will be an English tutor present in order to assist students of those programs.
