Polish and Bavarian universities strengthen their cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence
From 26 to 30 June, Universität Bavaria e.V., Hochschule Bavaria e.V. and BAYHOST went on a delegation trip to Poland, to which leading universities in Poznań and Wrocław had invited. The aim of the trip was to strengthen cooperation with Polish universities, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence.
The trip was attended by 18 presidents, vice presidents and professors from 6 universities, 5 universities of applied sciences and one music university, as well as the managing director of Universität Bavaria e.V. and the managing director of Hochschule Bavaria e.V. Poznań and Wrocław in western Poland, together with Warsaw and Krakow, are the most important centers for higher education and science in Poland. The Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznań is one of 10 research universities in the Polish Excellence Initiative. The rectors of the three host universities in Poznań are currently the chairmen of the Rectors' Conferences of Polish comprehensive universities, business universities and technical universities.

Polish-Bavarian technical workshop as a follow-up project to the 2023 delegation trip
The Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (CAIDAS) and BAYHOST organized a workshop on "Artificial Intelligence for Software Engineering" at the Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg from 30 September to 1 October 2024. The topic was well received by 62 participants from 11 countries. On the Bavarian side, 6 universities and 7 universities of applied sciences took part. The international participants came from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Finland, Croatia, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.
