Expertise seminar on Russia 2014
On 11 November 2014, BAYHOST held its first competence seminar on Russia in order to facilitate a Bavaria-wide exchange of experiences on cooperation with Russia in research and teaching. The event was hosted by Augsburg University of Applied Sciences.
Augsburg University of Applied Sciences has been organising student exchanges with the Moscow State University of Transport (MIIT) and St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University for 10 years, involving the Faculties of Mechanical and Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Economics, Computer Science and Design. In line with its internationalization strategy, the cooperation with the two Russian universities is being developed into a strategic partnership with increased student and lecturer exchanges, cooperative doctorates and a regular joint summer school.
