November 11 2015, at the Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg
On 11 November 2015, BAYHOST and Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg hosted a expertise seminar on Ukraine to facilitate a Bavaria-wide exchange of experiences on cooperation with Ukraine in research and teaching.
In 2014, Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg organized several workshops to initiate and intensify cooperation with three universities in Lviv in western Ukraine, involving several faculties on both sides, particularly in the natural sciences. There are already joint study programs in computer scientists and mathematics. The University Hospital Würzburg is planning the continuing education of Ukrainian doctors in paediatric oncology. The Slavic languages and literature department is also cooperating with universities and research institutions in Ukraine. Ukrainian language courses are also offered.
