This video shows an example of how a Teaching Analysis Poll (TAP) is carried out. 

Registration

An analysis is only meaningful in relation to the learning objectives of the course. When you register for a TAP we therefore ask about these objectives alongside the organisational details.

Overall impression

In addition to the group discussion, you can survey the students’ overall impression of the course. They do so by awarding school grades.

Coding the data

Once the data has been collected, the students’ statements are coded. This guide will support you:

Note: if the data is coded only for feedback and not for research purposes, coding at the level of the main categories is sufficient.
