Veranstaltung: Leadership essentials - What does it take to be an inspiring leader?

Often young researchers take on leadership roles early on in their career. In this workshop you will learn about important aspects of an inspiring approach to leader-ship which engages you and your team members and which addresses, at the same time, current management issues.

Workshop topics:

• Leadership fundamentals: what is expected of an effective leader?
• The importance of communication for resonating leadership
• How can I avoid misunderstandings, how can I convince others?
• Motivation as key success factor – what aspects can be considered to motivate individually?
• What leadership models can be helpful?
• How do I learn to delegate?
• Why is a professional feedback culture so relevant and how do I establish it?
• How do I enter an existing team as a new leader?
• What helps to be accepted and appreciated by the team members?
