Please return borrowed media at the end of the loan period. If items are not returned on time, your library account may be blocked and you may receive a (fee-based) return reminder.(see ABOB § 18 (external link, opens in a new window))

Pick Up and Return Station

Alternatively, items can be returned via the Pick Up and Return Station in the Central Library.(Route (external link, opens in a new window))

Here you can collect and return books during the building's opening hours, regardless of the opening hours of the Loans and Textbook Collection.

Select the "Return" button on the display.
Scan your library card or UR card.
Select a locker size.
Place the books in the compartment that opens.
Close the locker.

The lockers are emptied regularly to return the books.
