Summer opening hours in the reading rooms
Please note: As in recent years, there will be shortened summer opening hours in the reading rooms from 01.08. - 02.10.2026.

Exams in the reading rooms Philosophicum 04.08.-04.09.2026
Due to exams the reading rooms Philosophicum 1 and 2 are closed in the mornings on several days (external link, opens in a new window).
New version of the Library's User Regulations in effect
Please note that a new version of the Library's User Regulations (opens in a new window). (This PDF is not accessible) (in German only) is in effect.
In particular, the rules regarding beverages in the reading rooms have been changed.
Effective immediately, only water in leak-proof, sealable containers is permitted in the reading rooms.
