Scan book pages free of charge and save them on your own USB stick.
You will find the book scanners in the Information Center in the Central Library and in all reading rooms.
Specialized scanning
The MultiMediaCenter in the Central Library offers several scanners that can be used to scan books, microfiches, microfilms and slides. There is also a large format scanner for documents up to A0.
The scanners are available free of charge to all students and staff of the University of Regensburg for scientific purposes. For instructions on how to use the equipment, please contact the staff during the opening hours of the MultiMediaCenter. Single devices are allocated via lists; it is advisable to register approximately one to two days before the desired scan date.
Projects
The University Library of Regensburg has participated in various digitization projects. Most recently, the University Library was a partner in the European digitization project EODOPEN. The eBooks on Demand service emerged from the predecessor project EOD.
