How EOD ordering works
For specific digitization requests from our holdings please contact Digitalisierung.ub(at)ur.de (opens your email program).
The digital copies are created in high resolution using our book scanners.
Depending on the condition of the original, automatic text recognition is then carried out and the digital images are merged into a single file in PDF format. Please note that automatic text recognition (OCR) does not produce completely correct results and inaccuracies may occur, especially with older books.
The digitized book will then be made available to you as a PDF for download.
Prices
Please note: Books are only scanned in their entirety. The price per digitized book depends on the number of pages to be scanned. This number only roughly corresponds to the number of pages in a work, as covers, endpapers, etc., which are usually not numbered, are also scanned. Therefore, the number of scans usually exceeds the number of pages listed in the library catalog.
The price is €10.00 plus €0.16 per page; the reduced price for members of the University of Regensburg is €10.00 plus €0.08 per page. You can pay for your EOD eBook directly by credit card, PayPal, or invoice.

EOD search engine

The results show books that are either already available free of charge as digital copies or are available for digitization upon request.
