Workstations
Visually impaired and blind university members can use computer workstations equipped with special technology.
These are located in the Central Library on the ground floor, Room 5.19 C (external link, opens in a new window) (Route).
Equipment:
- Speech output: Screen text or scanned text is read aloud
- Braille display: Screen text is converted into Braille
- Large screen with screen magnification software
- Reading device with video camera; printed text is enlarged on screen
- Windows-PC with software commonly found in computer rooms
- Access to e-media available via the campus network
