Events on the topic of menopause

As part of our series of events on the topic of the menopause, we provide information on the health, psychosocial and work-related aspects of this stage of life. These events provide a forum for expert insights, discussion and raising awareness within the university context.

Peer-to-Peer Menopause Support Lab: Strategies and tools for mutual support, 22 June 2026, 8:30 - 11 a.m., S 113 (OTH R)

Peer support works - if it is well designed. In this workshop, participants will receive a sound overview of peer-to-peer formats for menopausal health: what they can do, what elements they need and what constitutes good practice. In the second part, we will work together: participants will develop their own script and toolkit that they can use directly for their group, network or institution - including possible topics and focuses for future meetings.

The offer is aimed at members of the two universities who are currently in (peri-)menopause. Registration by 18 June 2026 by email to anchristine.hutschenreuther(at)oth-regensburg.de (OTH Regensburg) or Nicole.Cucit(at)verwaltung.uni-regensburg.de(Universität Regensburg).
