Gender Consulting

Third-party funded research projects often have the opportunity to apply for additional funding for gender equality measures - for example to promote gender equality, diversity or the compatibility of family and academic career. The Gender Consulting Service provides comprehensive support to both individual researchers and research networks in all phases: from the application to the expert review to the successful implementation of the planned measures.

Provision of gender and diversity sensitive text modules and data for your application text
Support in the development of a network-specific equality strategy (e.g. objectives and measures)
Feedback and advice on your application with regard to gender-inclusive language, addressing equal opportunities, awareness-raising activities, and work-life balance

On-site review (DFG)

Advice and project-specific preparation for the on-site review (DFG)
Support with poster preparation and participation in the on-site review (DFG)

Throughout the project duration

Internal university networking with other research consortia (topics: equity and diverstiy)
Advice on using the Standard Allowance for Equity and Diversity (DFG)
Pooling of funds
