Scholarships for a doctoral scholarship, Degree or postdoctoral scholarship as part of the "Financial Incentive System" of the UR

As part of the financial incentive system to promote gender equality at the UR, funds are available to the Faculty Equal Opportunities Officers, which can also be used for scholarships or WHK positions for a doctoral start or degree or for a postdoc start.

As this is only one of several utilisation criteria and the funds are relatively small, it is best to research on the website of your Faculty Equal Opportunities Officer to see whether this is possible for you.

Further research options

The research database ELFI (external link, opens in a new window) contains over 11,000 research funding programmes from around 4,900 national and international funding institutions. In this database, which is updated once a week, you can filter by research topic, funding type or region, for example. Scholarships for students are also included in this database.
The University of Regensburg has subscribed to access and makes it available to its researchers free of charge on the university network.
